Privacy Policy
The app — what stays on your devices
- Connection key — a secret that links your phone to your own setup. Stored in your device’s secure storage (iOS Keychain / Android Keystore) only if you opt in, and in an access-controlled file on your PC. Never sent to us, never leaves your network.
- Connection settings (host/port, watched symbols) — stored locally on your device.
- Trade data — read from your MetaTrader account and stored locally for your dashboard and journal. Not transmitted to us.
The app — what we collect
Nothing. The app has no analytics, no ads, no trackers, and no backend. We do not receive your token, your trades, your account number, or any usage data. Your trades go to your broker via your MT5 terminal, exactly as they would without TradeForgeOS.
This website — early-access form
If you submit the early-access form, your email address is sent to our own first-party service and stored in our database, used solely to email you about the TradeForgeOS launch. No third-party form processor is involved. We don’t sell or share it; we keep only your email plus a one-way hashed indicator of your network address for basic abuse-prevention (never your raw IP). You can unsubscribe or request deletion anytime by emailing us. The site sets no advertising or tracking cookies. We do count anonymous, aggregate page views on this site to understand traffic — first-party only, with no cookies and no cross-site tracking; your network address is one-way hashed per day solely to de-duplicate a single visit, and no visitor profiles are built, sold, or shared. The homepage includes a demo video that loads YouTube only if you click play (via youtube-nocookie) — nothing loads from YouTube until then; if you do play it, YouTube may set its own cookies under its policy.
If you send feedback or a bug report through the website, the text you submit (and anything you choose to include) is stored the same way, used only to improve TradeForgeOS.
Diagnostics
If something goes wrong in the app, it keeps a local error log on your device (Connection → Error log). It is never uploaded; you choose whether to export it into a support message.
